This year, Bluffs staff members are participating in a campus wide health challenge with new goals each quarter!
Quarter 1 was a step challenge where all participating staff members tracked the number of steps they took each day and the results were outstanding! As a whole, our staff averaged 3.1 MILLION steps during the quarter!
The top 3 teams were announced today!
1st Place: Mr. Coats, Mrs. Gillis, and Ms. Richards with an average step count of 669,166.
2nd Place: Ms. Powell, Mrs. Shaw, and Mrs. Weber with an average step count of 606,264.
3rd Place: Ms. Beddingfield, Ms. DeGroot, Mrs. Hutton, and Mrs. Sharrow with an average step count of 564,657.

Any current 5th or 6th grade girls interested in playing 5th/6th basketball, there will be a parent meeting following the first practice tomorrow from 4:30-6:00pm at Winchester High School. The parent meeting will be in the WHS Auditorium.

1st Grade enjoyed learning about apples in September! They studied the life cycle of an apple tree, labeled the parts of an apple, went on a virtual field trip to an apple orchard, enjoyed taste testing apples, and finished the unit by making applesauce!
Last week our High School Art classes spent some time outside using alcohol inks. The results are beautiful! Thank you Mrs. Barnett for enriching our students lives!

There will be a player/parent meeting next Wednesday October 15th @ 7:00 PM in the Winchester Grade School Cafeteria for anyone interested in playing Jr. High Boys Basketball this winter. If you are unable to attend, please make contact with Coach Little.
