Thank you Sophomores for giving a helping hand to Mrs. Hoots’ 4th graders with their creative writing skills. The sophomores really enjoyed creating story starters for the 4th graders to choose from and finish the story.

Leila and her owner Kaylie Devlin visited 5th grade today! Kaylie talked about how Leila got into dog sports, animal acting, and what it means to be a service dog. Leila showed off some tricks including scent work, by finding the item that the students hid in the classroom. Thank you Kaylie and Leila for visiting!

With warmer temperatures in the forecast, we would like for families to review the school dress code.

Calendar Updates!

As a reminder, all Bluffs students are able to enjoy a free breakfast every morning!
In order to assure that all students can finish their food before heading to the classroom, breakfast is served starting at 7:40am, but moving forward, breakfast service will end at 7:55am. This change is being implemented because we have had an increase in students being late to class due to showing up too late to breakfast.
Parents can assist by making sure their students are dropped off at school early enough to get their breakfast and eat in a timely manner. If you have any questions please feel free to contact the office.

There will be a West Central (High School) Softball parent meeting on Sunday, March 2nd, at 5:00pm in BHS Room 203.

Forms for this event were sent home last week. Money and forms are due Monday, March 3rd. More information about Read Across America week will be sent home this Friday.
